The purpose of the project was to examine and identify interpretation, experience, and perception in architecture and supply service, applying them in the formulation of an architectural draft to design a new market center in Santa Ana, Quillabamba. The research follows an applied, non-experimental scientific method, analyzing the architectural categories of form, function, and technology to understand and interpret both experience and perception. Additionally, guidelines were considered to develop an architectural draft that meets the defined objectives and scope of this applied research. Therefore, the design constraints and issues addressed included functional, formal, and technological architectural categories. Aspects such as the interpretation of architecture in terms of experience and perception, as well as supply service, were considered while always mindful of contextual limitations. User needs were identified to develop a specialized architectural program. The categories were evaluated collectively and addressed within a formal strategy that encompassed spatiality and functionality through the use of technological strategies and material selection, among other factors. Different alternatives were explored, and the most suitable ones were chosen for the analyzed categories, ensuring a coherent proposal. The interpretation of the experience and perception of architecture and supply service was analyzed, applied to the formulation of an architectural draft for socio-commercial exchange in Quillabamba. Considering that socio-commercial exchange takes place with the perspective that the project type allows for the expression of spaces that stimulate mental capacities, efforts were made to integrate these elements coherently.
