Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is one of the most prevalent neuropsychiatric disorders in childhood, negatively affecting academic performance, social skills, and family dynamics. This study conducted a systematic review on the effectiveness of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, focusing on research published in the last five years (2019 to 2024) in English and Spanish. Through a PRISMA methodology, studies were identified showing that Parent-Child Interaction Therapy not only significantly reduces the symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder but also improves children's executive functions, such as working memory and inhibitory control. Additionally, an improvement was observed in the parent-child relationship, reducing parental stress and contributing to a more balanced family environment. Despite some limitations in access to studies and the concentration of research on other neurodiversities, the findings confirm the effectiveness of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy in managing Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and suggest its applicability in different cultural contexts.
