This research aims to analyze the management of uncollectible invoices and risk provisioning under the International Financial Reporting Standard 9 (IFRS 9) at the International Freight Forwarding Agency EZ Logistics S.A.C. In the current economic context, characterized by uncertainty and high competition in the logistics sector, companies face significant challenges related to customer delinquency. This study seeks to examine how the application of IFRS 9 impacts the management of credit risks, particularly in terms of the correct provisioning of expected credit losses, a crucial aspect for the financial stability of the company. A quantitative and descriptive approach is used to analyze the agency’s financial statements, evaluating the effectiveness of the implemented collection policies and their relation to liquidity. The study also explores the effects of risk provisioning on financial and strategic decisions, aiming to contribute to the improvement of the organization’s internal processes. The results suggest that the proper implementation of IFRS 9 enables the agency to manage uncollectible accounts more efficiently, thus reducing the negative impact on its capital, cash flow, and profitability. Finally, practical recommendations are provided to optimize risk management, such as revising internal credit and collection policies, in order to strengthen solvency and improve the agency's ability to recover from delinquency. In this way, the study aims to maximize operational efficiency in the financial realm and enhance risk management within the company
