The objective of the research was to determine the “Knowledge of oral health and oral hygiene of primary school children in the II.EE Marshal Oscar R. Benavides and San Juan de Miraflores. Iquitos 2024”. The study considered a population of 955 II.EE's Mariscal Oscar R. Benavides (n = 147) and San Juan de Miraflores (n = 127), sample: 274 students. With a quantitative approach, descriptive, observational, prospective and correlational level. II.EE. SJM (46.4%) and II.EE. MORB (53.6%). Oral hygiene was optimal (76.6%) in both II.EE's, in SJM (89%), II.EE. MORB (66%), with respect to ages, the majority were 7-year-old children (82.2%) and with a predominance in the female sex (81.7%). The knowledge was regular (70.8%), also in age; predominating at age 6 years (80%). Being greater in girls (74.6%). II.EE. SJM, with optimal oral hygiene, 60.6% had regular knowledge. In contrast to II.EE MORB, with optimal oral hygiene, 49.7% had regular knowledge. It is concluded that students from the II.EE. MORB, do not have greater knowledge of oral health, presenting optimal oral hygiene compared to the II.EE SJM students who present equal knowledge of oral health and optimal oral hygiene
