The work carried out for this thesis defines a diagnosis and evaluation of the flexible pavement structure, it was necessary to carry out a thorough inspection of the road to be evaluated on the current conditions of the structural package of the Morales Highway - San Pedro de Cumbaza, province and department of San Martin, in which there is evidence of deterioration in the rolling surface of low, high, medium and high severity level in some cases, which justifies the identification, classification and monitoring of the surface faults found. Due to the complexity of pavements, there is a need to adopt efficient design methods, adequate construction techniques, and a management-maintenance system because it affects their performance during their service life. Most of the maintained and rehabilitated roads have deteriorated prematurely, decreasing the condition and level of serviceability of the pavement which they were designed for, for this reason it is important to preserve them through periodic maintenance and / or rehabilitation, to provide the user with safety, comfort and less transport time; In this way, the level of service on the roads will be significantly improved. Once the surface evaluation is finished, a structural evaluation is carried out, because the data obtained superficially does not give us the real behavior of the pavement-subgrade system, therefore, the structural evaluation process begins with the collection of field data, With the evaluation, it is determined that if a pavement repair is not made at the right time, it will increase and if it is a superficial fault, a structural fault will happen, which will no longer opt for a repair but for the construction of a new pavement if it is the case.
