The work presented was formulated with the sole purpose of carrying out the “Environmental analysis associated with the exploitation of quarries of stone aggregates on the Iquitos-Nauta highway, Sanjurjo quarry, district of San Juan Bautista, province of Maynas, department of Loreto, 2021 ". In order to achieve the proposed objectives, the variables that make up the research topic were identified, developing within a descriptive type of research. Likewise, the Sanjurjo quarry area was located and the exploitation volume was calculated, resulting in 10,000m3 approx. the accessibility allowed to easily know the characteristics of the extracted material, this because the transport to the laboratory was not difficult. The laboratory tests allowed to know the Fineness Modulus of the MF aggregate: 1.3, revealing characteristics such as poorly graded silty sand, white, wet and loose, a reduced amount of fine particles, classified according to SUCS as SP-SM and AASHTO A-3 (0), however at 4.00m depth, material corresponding to a whitish colored sand was found, Classification SUCS SP-SM and AASHTO A-2-4 (0), it does not present plasticity. As an integral part of the project evaluation, actions were carried out in the field that made it possible to identify those that are susceptible to environmental impacts, such as clearing, excavation and extraction of the aggregate, allowing them to be observed in situ.
