Objective: to identify the abortion risk factors in women who visited the Regional Hospital of Loreto. Jan. 1–June 30, 2022 Methodology: Quantitative and retrospective study, with non-experimental design. Correlational and cross-sectional, with a sample of 127 women with confirmed diagnosis of abortion. Results: Sociodemographic risk factors identified were: 47.2% were aged between 20 and 29 years, 64.6% cohabiting marital status, 70.1% housewives and 75.6 % from urban origin. The gynecological and obstetric risk factors identified were: 92.1% without prenatal care, 63% were multigestational, 59.1% were 8 weeks or less gestational age and 43.3% with 1 year of inter-gestational period. The Clinical Factors identified are: 3.9% with Urinary Infection, 36.2% with anemia and 57.5% with abnormal BMI, predominantly overweight with 41.7%. Conclusion: Significant association of abortion with marital status (p=0.002), Prenatal Care (P=0.005), Intergestational Period (p= 0.005) and Urinary Infection (p=0.001) was found.
