Objective: To evaluate the association between quality of life related to oral health and the type of denture in older adults from a Minsa health facility in Iquitos 2023. Methodology: The type of research was prospective, quantitative, descriptive and correlational. The design was non-experimental and transversal. The sample was made up of 114 older adults from the Ipress I- 3 Túpac Amaru, city of Iquitos. Results: 79.8% of adults presented a “fair” quality of life related to oral health, 17.6% presented “good”. In physical function in older adults who use fixed prostheses, 7% have moderate quality of life; with total prosthesis, 16.7% quality of life is moderate, 6.1%; With removable partial prosthesis 17.5% quality of life is moderate. In edentulous adults, 20.2% quality of life is moderate, 15% is low. In psychosocial function, 9.6% of adults who use fixed prostheses have a high quality of life; with total prosthesis, 22.7% quality of life is high; With removable partial prosthesis 23.8% quality of life is high; In edentulous adults, 29.8% quality of life is high. Regarding pain function, 5.3% of adults who use fixed prostheses have moderate quality of life; with total prosthesis, 15.7% quality of life is high; With removable partial prosthesis 15.8% quality of life is moderate. In edentulous adults, 14% have moderate quality of life. Conclusion: A significant difference was found when comparing pain function and type of denture.
