Stress is a mental health problem that has been affecting more frequently all people, especially teachers because of the context in which they operate, decreasing their productivity and affecting their physical health, which can generate openness to other diseases. Objective To determine the level of work stress in primary school teachers of the Educational Institution "Claverito", Punchana, 2020. The present study is of quantitative type of cross-sectional descriptive design, 24 teachers of both sexes were surveyed, the Maslach and Jackson Test was applied to them. It is observed that the level of work stress of the teachers of the primary level of the I.E. Claverito, is in the middle level with a 91%; and, 8% in high stress level. In emotional exhaustion due to the age of the teachers, they show a high level in 87.5%; due to gender, the high level of 80.0% is shown; due to the work condition, the highest percentage occurs in appointed teachers, showing a high level of emotional exhaustion of 73.7%. In the Dimension of Depersonalization due to age, the average level of depersonalization of significant 100% is shown; due to gender, a high level of depersonalization of 60.0 per cent is shown; due to the work condition, a high level of depersonalization of 52.6% is shown. In the Dimension of Personal Fulfillment due to age, the average level of Personal Fulfillment of 42.9% is shown; due to gender, there is a low level of depersonalization of 75.0 per cent; due to the employment status, a low level of depersonalization in appointed teachers is shown at 68.4%.
