The present study aimed to: Determine the relationship between risk factors and knowledge of covid-19, during the pandemic in residents residing in the district of Punchana 2020, with a non-experimental methodological approach, quantitative, descriptiv design, cross-sectional, correlational, and prospective, the technique was the interview and the instrument the questionnaire; with a population of 2,369 people and shows 331 people of both sexes; the results were; 13.9% live in the New Versalles Human Settlement; 5.7% in Glenda Freitas; 5.7% Bellavista Nanay; 12.7% Las Malvinas; 8.2% Deliria Manzur and 53.8% by Silfo Alban del Castillo; 24.8% had knowledge of the covid-19, through television; 7.9% through the internet and 61.0% through the written press. Among the risk factors, 61.0% suffered from Overweight; 24.8% suffered from hypertension; 7.9% suffered from Diabetes; 3.6% suffered from Bronchial Asthma; 0.6% suffered from cardiac arrhythmia; 0.6% suffered from some type of cancer; 0.3% suffered from pulmonary fibrosis and 0.3% suffered from congestive heart failure, with regard to the knowledge variable; 17.2% present a very low level of knowledge of COVID-19; 23.9% low level; 58.6% moderate level and only 0.3% a high level, In the analysis of the relationship between risk factors and knowledge of COVID 19 during the pandemic, it was found that: Overweight, Hypertension, Diabetes, some type of cancer, have significant positive relationship with Awareness of COVID 19 during the pandemic; with a level of significance p <0.05. Likewise, Bronchial Asthma, Cardiac Arrhythmia and Pulmonary Fibrosis and Congestive Heart Failure do not have a significant positive relationship with the knowledge of COVID 19 during the pandemic, that is, p> 0.05. Concluding that there is a statistically significant relationship between risk factors and knowledge of Covid-19, during the pandemic in residents residing in the district of Punchana 2020.
