Interpersonal values in Psychology students from a private university, San Juan Bautista-Iquitos 2020. Bach. Lilia Nohelia Sologuren Reyes. Introduction: Currently, Psychology students find themselves daily under situations in which they must actively interact with the family, social and community environment, so they need to have certain established values, since their decisions involve the well-being of human beings. Objective: To determine the level of Interpersonal Values in students of the academic program of Psychology of a private university in San Juan Bautista-Iquitos. Methodology: It is a study developed under a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design. The sample is made up of 74 students from the 9th, 10th and 12th grades. The instrument used was the Leonard Gordon SIV Interpersonal Values Questionnaire. Results: The socio-demographic characteristics of the surveyed students are 70.3% female and 29.7% male; their ages fluctuate between 20 to 41 years, and 63.5% of students are between the ages of 20 - 24 years; and 70.2% are in the 10th academic cycle. The highest number of students got a High level in the Interpersonal Values of Independence (62.2%), Benevolence (62.2%), Leadership (62.2%) and Conformity (48.6%); and Medium level Support Value (75.6%), Recognition (62.2%) and Compliance (48.6%). The Interpersonal Values with Low level are presented by less than 10% of students. Conclusion: The largest number of students present a high level in Independence, Benevolence, Leadership and they presented a medium level in Support, Recognition and Compliance.
