The objective of the research is to analyze the informality of businesses and their possibility of inserting them into the formality process. The method included a population of microentrepreneurs, and an intentional sample of 40 of them. There is a high degree of informality, not being formalized, 64% in the tax aspect and 44% in the municipal aspect. 76% of them indicate that they have some interest in entering the formalization process. There is a significant percentage, 36%, who have some knowledge about the benefits of formality. The institutions never supported them, in the case of the Ministry of Labor, 52%, something similar happens with the Ministry produces, 46%. The Municipality has better results, only 18% in this opinion. At the government level, they consider that the institution from which they have received the least support is SUNAT, 82% say they never supported them. They have attitude to pay the income tax for the profits of the business, 38%, indicates that they should not pay any rate of this tax.
