The present investigation called "Evaluation of the Efficiency of the Vigacero System in Lightened Slabs of Housing, District of San Juan Bautista, Province of Maynas, Peru 2023", responds to the general problem: What are the contribution levels of the prefabricated lightened slab system steel beam vs conventional lightened slab systems to achieve effectiveness in the construction process and determine the structural behavior in a 2-story single-family home, San Juan Bautista 2023?, also has as its main objective: Compare the Level of contribution of the prefabricated system of Lightened steel beam slab vs conventional lightened slab systems to achieve effectiveness in the construction process and structural behavior of a 2-story single-family home, San Juan Bautista 2023. It is a descriptive research of non-experimental design, for this the structural analysis was carried out based on the Etabs program, Microsoft Excel and S10 programs, for the calculation of Direct Cost and materials, resulting in: The difference in Total Weight between both systems . was 81,355TN corresponding to a percentage of 24.81%, this includes the reduction in the dimensioning of the Building's foundation. The difference in Deflection in both systems is 0.00573 and 0.00595; this suggests similar behavior; However, it is the structural efficiency that leads us to say that the VIGACERO System shows a significant improvement due to the increase in the tributary area corresponding to each joist, for Vigacero 0.84ml = Tributary Width, conventional Lightened Slab, 0.4ml = Width. Same deflection for greater tributary area, entails less weight for the Mezzanine Slab, reducing dimensions in the Foundation, with respect to the conventional system Finally, with the analyzes it is considered that the Vigacero system has better structural behavior and a lower cost than the traditional system, so it is suggested to make comparisons of the proposed system with others found in the construction sector.
