Efecto de un programa educativo en el nivel de conocimiento sobre VIH/SIDA en estudiantes del colegio república de Venezuela 2020

Abstract

Introducción. Los adolescentes cada vez inician sus relaciones sexuales más precozmente, así mismo son los que están expuestos a conductas de riesgo, que muchas veces no usan métodos de protección, exponiéndose a contraer infecciones de transmisión sexual, entre ellos la infección por el VIH. Objetivo. Determinar el efecto de un programa educativo en el nivel de conocimiento sobre el VIH/SIDA en los estudiantes del Colegio República de Venezuela 2020. Metodología. Estudio de investigación de tipo cuantitativo. El diseño de investigación es Cuasi experimental y prospectivo. La población conformada por 420 estudiantes del 4to y 5to año de secundaria del Colegio República de Venezuela. La muestra estuvo conformada por 261 estudiantes. Resultado. El presente estudio se realizó en estudiantes adolescentes del 4to y 5to año del Colegio República de Venezuela, encontrando que la edad de los estudiantes que participaron en el estudio oscilaba entre 14 y 18 años, predominando las edades de 16 y 17 años, así mismo predomino el sexo masculino con un 54,8% sobre el sexo femenino con un 45,2%. El nivel de conocimiento sobre VIH/SIDA, antes de la ejecución del programa educativo, es alto en un 63,6%, alcanzando al 100% después de la ejecución del programa. Conclusión. Existe diferencia estadísticamente significativa (p=0.000) en nivel de conocimiento en el pre test y post test, sobre VIH/SIDA en los estudiantes del Colegio República de Venezuela.

Quantitative research study. The research design is Quasi experimental and prospective. The population is made up of 420 students of the 4th and 5th year of high school from Colegio República de Venezuela. The sample consisted of 261 students. Outcome. The present study was carried out in adolescent students of the 4th and 5th year of the República de Venezuela School, finding that the age of the students who participated in the study ranged between 14 and 18 years, with the prevailing ages of 16 and 17 years, likewise sex male with 54.8% over female with 45.2%. The level of knowledge about HIV / AIDS, before the execution of the educational program, is 63.6% high, reaching 100% after the execution of the program. Conclusion. There is a statistically significant difference (p = 0.000) in the pre-test and post-test level of knowledge about HIV / AIDS in the students of the Colegio República de Venezuela.
