Objective: was to determine the "prevalence of anemia in pregnant women who attend the Cardozo health center during the months of July to December 2020" Method: A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out with retrospective information collection, in which observation and documentary analysis were used as an instrument, since the data from the medical records with a total of 490 pregnant women were reviewed, the biological variables and laboratory tests of each one and were compared with the hemoglobin results to identify anemia. These pregnant women who are in the first trimester of pregnancy who were in the IPRESS 1-3 of the Cardozo Health Center during the months of July - December 2020. Results: They show that it was found that the lowest hemoglobin in pregnant women was 8.2gr / dl and the highest hemoglobin was 15.5 gr / dl. 3. The number of pregnant women with anemia due to a hemoglobin below 11gr / dl per month was recorded in July 2020 with 25% (33) of a total of 132 (100%) pregnant women with anemia. It was found that the age group with the highest number of positive cases with anemia was between 16 and 20 years old with 32% (42). 5. It was recorded that firsttime pregnant women registered a prevalence of anemia 08% (11), but it was observed that the highest number of cases with anemia in pregnant women who were in their first gestational trimester were those who only had a previous pregnancy with a prevalence of 28% (37). Conclusions: That the prevalence of anemia due to a hemoglobin lower than 11 g / dl in pregnant women who are in the 1st trimester of pregnancy in the IPRESS I-3 of the Cardozo health center during the second semester of 2020 is 27% (132) of a total of 490 (100%)
