The investigation was carried out in the "Casual" private property made up of four farms: Miller, Ernan, Christian and Ochavano (all registered in SUNARP), located on the banks of the Marañon river in the Nauta district, in the Loreto - Nauta province, Loreto region, Peru. The general objective was to determine the timber potential and economic value of commercial timber forest species. The census was carried out in the year 2021 in the month of June. The field team was made up of: Forest manager, annotator (thesis students), witch doctor (thesis student), planter, trochero and cook; the registered biometric information was: common name, diameter, commercial height, total height, geographic coordinates, phytosanitary status, seedling or usable classification. With the biometric information, the management declaration for timber harvesting (DEMA) was prepared. The total area was 140.28 ha and the evaluation area 115.80 ha; 819 individuals were registered, representing 23 forest species for timber purposes, contained in four diameter classes (40 - 59, 60 - 79, 80 - 89, 100 - +); the two species with the largest individuals are: Hymenolobium pulcherrimum Ducke (chontaquiro) with 116 individuals and Virola loretensis A.C. YE. (cumala) with 107 and the two species with the fewest individuals are: Cedrelinga cateniformis (Ducke) Ducke. (tornillo) with 9 individuals and Brosimum parinarioides Ducke (panguana) with 7 individuals. The two species with the largest volume are: Albizia submidiata (Splitg.) (pashaco) with 435.93 m3, Hymenolobium pulcherrimum Ducke (chontaquiro) with 393.03 m3; the two species with the lowest volume are: Brosimum parinarioides Ducke (panguana) with 33.73 m3 and Terminalia amazonia (J.F. Gmel.) Exell (yacushapana) with 31.19 m3. The total volume of commercial timber forest species was 2,997.27 m3, which represents 659,399.4 pt with a total commercial value of S/ 2´026,658.04.
