The purpose of the research is to determine the relationship between sociodemographic factors and anxiety - depression in workers of the General Office of University Welfare of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, year 2020. The research presents a quantitative approach and is based on the hypothetical-deductive research method. The population was made up of 42 workers from the General Office of University Welfare of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, in the city of Iquitos. Non-probabilistic intentional sampling was used, the sample being 42 workers. The technique was psychometric and the survey. The data collection instrument used was the ZUNG Anxiety Self-Assessment Scale - EAA and the ZUNG Depression Self-Measurement Scale - EAMD. To analyze the information, the SPSS v23 statistic was used, obtaining the following results: with respect to anxiety, 69% did not present anxiety and 31% showed the presence of minimal to moderate anxiety. Variable depression 57.1% did not have depression, 38.1% showed emotional disorder, 2.4% situational depression and 2.4% ambulatory depression. It is concluded: There is a significant relationship between sociodemographic factors and anxiety - depression in workers of the General Office of University Welfare of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, year 2020.
