To determine the risk factors associated with cervical lesions in women treated at the EsSalud San Juan Primary Care Center, period 2021. Methodology. Quantitative type study, correlational design, cross-sectional and retrospective, with a population of 1587 and a sample of 309 women who attended for the Pap test and IVAA. Outcome. Risk factors: women > 30 years old 65.0%, secondary level 57.3%, rural area 57.9%, cohabitants 45.3%, independent work 66.7%. More than 2 deliveries 58.2%, 1st pregnancy before 19 years 52.8%, no history of abortion 67.6%, vaginal delivery 76.4%, hormonal contraceptive method 70.6% and 52.4% had prior Pap smear. Start of sexual relations after 15 years 78.3%, more than 2 sexual partners 96.4%, no STIs 82.8%, no family history of cervical cancer 75.7%. Alcohol consumption 51.7% and 72.2% do not consume tobacco. More than 50% did not have chlamydia, trichomoniasis and candidiasis, 54.7% had bacterial vaginosis and 70.5% had HPV. Conclusion. The beginning of sexual intercourse, number of sexual partners, non-use of tobacco and human papillomavirus infection are statistically associated with cervical lesions.
