The present work has as general objective: to determine the results of the analysis and interpretation of the financial statements of the San Juan de Dios de Iquitos clinical home for the periods 2012 and 2013, in order to understand economic behavior, optimize income and improve profit margins; The descriptive method was used for this. The design is nonexperimental, and the data collection was obtained through the application of analysis methods and / or financial indicators. The results indicate that the company has liquidity, increased by 2.37 in the years 2012 to 2013, being able to meet its short-term expenses; presents an improved long-term working capital, showing a reduction in current liabilities, which for 2012 represented S/.70,493.68 and that in 2013 decreased by 46.77%. The decrease in balances in current assets with respect to the 2012 period is reflected, it can be seen that while cash grew by 156.98%, total current assets decreased by 9.15%, trade accounts receivable by 78.04% and others accounts receivable at 91.94%. Finally, the company shows that it has solvency, its investments made were financed more than 90% with its own resources; but as we interpret the consecutive losses of both years, which on average reach 7% of total liabilities and equity. In conclusion, the company shows that it has liquidity and solvency, but it does not have financial management and profitability, because it does not achieve an economic balance between its income and operating expenses.
