Factores asociados a la adherencia al targa en pacientes adultos con vih/sida en el hospital regional de loreto Felipe Arriola iglesias ciudad de Iquitos, 2023

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como finalidad establecer la relación que existe entre los factores asociados y el nivel de adherencia al TARGA en pacientes adultos con VIH/SIDA en el Hospital Regional de Loreto "Felipe Arriola Iglesias". Con un método de estudio, de enfoque cuantitativo, observacional, correlación y de 260 participantes. Se utilizó la encuesta y el cuestionario. Se encontró que el 90,8% de participantes tienen edades entre 42 a más años; el 54,6% son del sexo masculino; el 58,8% son solteros; el 57,7% tienen estudios secundaros; el 61,2% tienen mayor a 5 años de infección; el 65,4% tienen más de 30 meses con el tratamiento; el 82,3% tiene un nivel de carga viral < de 400; de tal manera que el 78,5% de pacientes tienen una adherencia estricta al tratamiento con TARGA. Se logró establecer la relación entre la edad (p=0,000); el género (p=0,000), el grado de instrucción (p=0,002); el tiempo de infección (p=0,001); el tiempo del tratamiento (p=0,001). El nivel de carga viral (p=0,000). No existe relación entre el estado civil (p=0,052). Se concluye estableciendo que existe relación entre los factores asociados y la adherencia al tratamiento al TARGA en pacientes adultos con VIH/SIDA en el Hospital Regional de Loreto "Felipe Arriola Iglesias".

The purpose of the research was to establish the relationship that exists between the associated factors and the level of adherence to HAART in adult patients with HIV/AIDS at the "Felipe Arriola Iglesias" Regional Hospital of Loreto. With a study method, with a quantitative, observational, correlation approach and 260 participants. The survey and questionnaire were used. It was found that 90.8% of participants are aged between 42 and older; 54.6% are male; 58.8% are single; 57.7% have secondary education; 61.2% have been infected for more than 5 years; 65.4% have been on treatment for more than 30 months; 82.3% have a viral load level < 400; such that 78.5% of patients have strict adherence to HAART treatment. It was possible to establish the relationship between age (p=0.000); gender (p=0.000), educational level (p=0.002); infection time (p=0.001); treatment time (p=0.001). The level of viral load (p=0.000). There is no relationship between marital status (p=0.052). It is concluded by establishing that there is a relationship between the associated factors and adherence to HAART treatment in adult patients with HIV/AIDS at the "Felipe Arriola Iglesias" Regional Hospital of Loreto.
