The objective of the research is to determine the relationship between family functionality and aggressiveness in students in the fourth and fifth grades of secondary school at the Mariscal Oscar R. Benavides educational institution in the city of Iquitos, 2023. Quantitative, hypothetical - deductive study, population made up of 384 students, stratified sampling was used, the sample being 193 fourth and fifth grade high school students, morning shift at the Mariscal Oscar R. Benavides educational institution in the city of Iquitos. Survey technique with FACES III Family Functioning Scale instruments, by David Olson, Joyce Portier and Joav Lavee and aggression questionnaire by Buss, A., and Perry, M. Information processed using SPSS v23 software, the results being: Family functionality, had a medium range in 60.1%, extreme 22.8% and balanced in 17.1%, and aggressiveness had a medium level 67.9%, low 25 .4% and high at 6.7%. Concludes: evidence of a very weak, non-significant inverse relationship (p>0.05) between the variables family functioning and aggression in fourth and fifth grade high school students at the Mariscal Oscar R. Benavides educational institution in the city of Iquitos.
