Diagnostico rural sobre la dieta alimenticia en los pobladores de las comunidades asentadas en los ríos Tigre y Corrientes

Abstract

El objetivo de nuestro trabajo fue obtener información acerca de la dieta alimenticia de tres comunidades de la cuenca del río Tigre y tres comunidades del río Corrientes a través de una encuesta realizada a los jefes de familia principalmente. Los datos obtenidos muestran que tanto las comunidades del río Tigre como las del río Corrientes tienen como fuente de proteína principal a los peces, siendo más importante en los del río Tigre, quienes realizan pesca más veces por semana y lo realizan también para la venta. Dentro de los peces colectados para la alimentación destacan los peces piscívoros como fasaco, corvina, paña, tucunaré, entre otros, así como palometa y sardinas. En cuanto a animales de caza destacan la sachavaca y el majaz. Todos los alimentos son acompañados principalmente por Arroz, Plátano y yuca. Con nuestro estudio verificamos además que las poblaciones del río Tigre y del Corrientes podrían estar potencialmente afectadas por contaminantes provenientes de la actividad petrolera debido a que tanto en evaluaciones realizadas por el Estado peruano y por otras instituciones muestran el contenido de metales en los peces y el consumo de sales en sitios contaminados por los mamíferos mencionados.

The objective of our work was to obtain information about the dietary diet of three communities in the Tigre River Basin and three communities of the Corrientes River through a survey conducted mainly to the heads of the family. The data obtained show that both the communities of the Tigre River and those of the Corrientes River have fish as the main source of protein, being more important in those of the Tigre River, who fish more times per week and also do it for sale. Among the fish collected for food, piscivorous fish such as fasaco, corvina, paña, tucunaré among others, as well as palometa and sardinas. As for game animals, sachavaca and majaz stand out. All foods are mainly accompanied by Rice, Banana and Cassava. With our study, we also verified that the populations of the Tigre River and Corrientes could potentially be affected by pollutants from the oil activity because both evaluations carried out by the Peruvian State and other institutions show the metal content in fish and consumption of salts in sites contaminated by the mentioned mammals.
