The objective of the research study was: To determine the biopsychosocial factors that influence the depression of the elderly in an IPRESS I, III district of Belén, Iquitos 2022. With a quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental correlational, cross-sectional approach. and prospective, whose technique was used was the Survey and a Measurement Scale, the instrument used was the questionnaire structured by the researcher and the filling of the questions of the Depression Scale, the total population was 50 older adults and for being a reduced population was used as a 100% sample, which is attended in an IPRESS I, III, of the District of Belén, of the city of Iquitos. Results: Of the total of 50 older adults surveyed in the district of Belén, 54% were between 70 and 75 years old, according to sex, 62% were male, 42% were married, and 36% had secondary education. Of 50 older adults surveyed in the district of Belén, 42%, their relatives are husbands and children respectively, 42% live with their husbands and children, and 32% the frequency with which they receive visits from relatives is monthly, 36% a Sometimes they have felt discriminated against, 46% made them feel bad with insults and ridicule. In relation to chronic diseases, 44% have high blood pressure, and in relation to biological changes, 84% have decreased visual acuity. Regarding psychological factors, 36% sometimes feel like isolating themselves from their peers, 40% never feel alone, 42% always feel useful, 44% help people, 44% sometimes they get annoyed easily, 56% sometimes feel powerless because they can't do things normally, 42% are always worried, 52% are in good spirits, 56% think about changing something about their physical appearance, and 48% sometimes find it hard to express their feelings. Conclusion: The Biopsychosocial Factors significantly influence the Depression of the older adult of an IPRESS I; III. From the Belén District, 2022, accepting the alternative Hypothesis.
