The research work sought to determine the bond between academic stress and resilience in students at a Public Technological Institute of East Lima in 2023. According to Zárate et al. (2017). Academic stress is a condition that occurs when the student perceives negatively (distress) the demands of their environment, and these situations are distressing in the course of their training, and they lose control to cope with them. In contrast, resilience is the ''ability to bounce back from adversity, to adapt, recover and access a dignified and productive life'' (Serna, et al 2018. A quantitative method of correlational type was applied, the sample was extracted from a Public Technological Institute of East Lima, formed by 181 students. The instruments applied were the SISCO SV-21 Academic Stress Inventory (Olivas et al. 2021) and the Wagnild & Young Resilience Scale adapted in metropolitan Lima by Gómez and Reyes (2019). Spearman’s Rho was used to test hypotheses. The results showed that there is a low positive relationship between academic stress and student resilience (ρ = 0.10 < 0.05, Rho = 0.117). However, it was concluded that some dimensions are more related between both variables.
