The work investigates the relationship among the variables of confirmation, satisfaction, trust, and perceived privacy risk in relation to the continuance intention in retail mobile shopping apps. The aim of this study is to analyze and understand how these factors may influence users' intention to continue using these applications. Additionally, conducting this research is important because variables like confirmation, which indicates the extent to which user expectations regarding the performance of these applications are met, have not been sufficiently studied in the sector. It has been observed that consumers consider this aspect relevant when deciding whether or not to continue using these applications. Finally, this research will adopt an explanatory, cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. The study will rely on a non-probabilistic convenience sample of 400 individuals who qualify as users and have completed at least three purchases through mobile retail applications within the past six months. Data collection will be carried out via a self-administered, structured online survey, using a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5.
