In the food industry, the high rate of non-conforming products is one of the most common problems as it generates reprocesses and wastage. For this reason, the research focuses on reducing the rate of non-conforming products in the packaging process of the beverage and concentrate production line, as it is one of the processes with the highest risk in terms of safety and quality. Likewise, it was identified that the indicator of non-conforming products was 4.12% and the associated economic impact was S/. 184'554, this value represents 5.03% of the total turnover. For this reason, the research approach is based on the analysis of extensive literature, which allowed us to identify the main solutions to similar problems in the sector. The contribution is based on designing a solution model that integrates the tools of Lean Manufacturing, statistical control, TPM and standardised work, in order to reduce the indicator to a value less than or equal to 0.45%. The model has been validated by means of a pilot project over a period of two months, the duration of which is due to the fact that when applying lean tools, the process is subjected to different modifications that require considerable adaptation time. Finally, it is concluded that the proposed model is the most appropriate to attack the main causes of the problem.
