This professional competency work addresses the implementation of improvements in a textile company specialized in the Jacquard elastic line, through the application of lean manufacturing and inventory management methodologies. The project focused on three main objectives: increase order fulfillment by 2024, improve the accuracy of physical inventory, and optimize the processes of planning and control of purchase orders. The implementation of the 5S methodology showed significant results, evidencing a 42% to 88% improvement in fulfillment standards, especially in the sorting and cleaning categories. The application of the ABC analysis revealed that 5% of the products (category A) represent 79.12% of the total value, allowing more efficient management of critical resources such as dyes and yarn. Inventory control using the ERI indicator showed a substantial improvement, increasing from 86% to 96% on average, with notable improvements in specific products such as rubber yarn (from 90% to 100%). Process standardization reduced purchase order processing times from 13 to 6 days, representing a 54% improvement through the implementation of new approval flows and document controls. The financial analysis supports the project's viability with favorable indicators: an VAN of s/98,777.19, an TIR of 47% (higher than the COK of 17%), a profitability ratio of s/98,777.19, (higher than the COK of 17%), and a profitability ratio s/98,777.19, (higher than the COK of 17%) a B/C ratio of 1.81 and a payback period of approximately 2 years and 10 months. These results demonstrate that the implementation not only significantly improved operational processes and inventory management, but also generated substantial economic value for the company, establishing a solid foundation for a more efficient and profitable operation.
