The objective of this research was to determine how coarse ore selectivity can reduce blending processing costs in Field One, addressing specific aspects such as cost per ton, improvement in blending grade and evaluation of mineral recovery. ounces. The Santamaría Plant in Pataz, with a capacity of 1,500 tons per day, faces a problem with the mineral from the "high" and "low" zones, which, although the majority in the daily tonnage, does not comply with the programmed grade due to the illegal extraction, the reduction of vein power and the lack of preparation for production work. This has resulted in unfavorable processing, with a high percentage of stripping and high operating costs. In this sense, the hypothesis presented is that the Selectivity of coarse mineral reduces the processing cost of Blending in Court One of a mine in Pataz, 2023. The methodology adopted follows a quantitative and applied approach, using hypothetical-deductive and quasi-experimental methods. to evaluate the impact of selectivity. The results reveal a clear difference in costs and efficiency between operation without selection and the implementation of coarse ore selectivity in Field One, suggesting an optimization in efficiency and resources used
