This thesis focuses on the implementation of a quality verification procedure for BIM (Building Information Modelling) models by speciality in educational projects in Metropolitan Lima. Since BIM methodology facilitates the coordination and accuracy of projects using 3D models, the delivery of these models by subcontractors still presents quality problems due to lack of standardisation and errors in the parameters. The aim of this work is to develop a process to ensure the reliability of the delivered BIM models. To this end, current deficiencies were identified, appropriate tools were selected to improve verification, and a procedure was proposed to ensure compliance with the guidelines set out in the BIM Execution Project. This procedure evaluates key parameters, such as the correct definition of specialities and the inclusion of accurate information in the modelled elements. Applied in educational projects, this approach significantly reduced incompatibilities and errors, improving the quality of the BIM models, resulting in better coordination between specialties and higher accuracy in the metering data. Overall, this new system contributes to efficiency and reliability in education project management, reducing risks and common errors.
