The textile and clothing industry in Peru represents 10% of the country's total manufacturing, compared to other sectors of economic activity; its participation in GDP is also in the order of 2%, at this point an in-depth analysis is necessary focusing on SMEs and MYPES. Since SMEs and MYPES are characterized by being organized multi-family, creating companies in order to survive in an adverse economic context whose creations in private companies go through a transition from informality to formalization, however, it is necessary to highlight that the statements mentioned above are not usually accompanied by an adequate level in new technologies trained human resource, this ultimately obeys to limited capital. It is imperative to specify that, in recent years, the production levels of both SMEs and MSMEs have shown a low performance in their production levels, since although this would be true that this would be due to the impact of imports from Asia itself China, India notes a notable fall in the domestic market due to low competitiveness. There are theories based on various studies that seek mechanisms to motivate competitiveness and therefore productivity for both SMEs and MYPES, however, over time these techniques have not managed to be applied with a much more technical approach. For this reason, this research focuses on solving low efficiency in the textile and clothing sector by appealing to reliable, viable and user-friendly mechanisms. It began with a diagnosis to know the focus of the problems that negatively impact the productivity and skills of the organization. That is why "Lean manufacturing" is proposed, which is no more than an integration of tools whose main objective is the sustainable and continuous improvement of processes. It is imperative to help the organization's staff in the proposal for improvement with the appropriate methodology, it will also determine the specific techniques to redirect and/or distribute or eliminate activities and processes that do not generate value and impact costs.
