The development of this work is the result of the application of the Lean Service philosophy and Methods Engineering for the process of executing closures and reopening of water supplies in the southern area of Lima (8 districts), with the collection and analysis of information from 2019 to 2021, in order to achieve efficient compliance in said process. Currently, all organizations face various demands, among them is meeting established deadlines that, if not met, incur penalties by the client, which were detected and avoided with the application of the Lean Service methodology and Methods Engineering, which contributes to efficient process management by reducing times in a given cycle and obtaining greater profitability. For this reason, the present work is based on the compliance indicators of the LAC Consortium, which are being observed due to the low performance that the Cuts and Reopening’s area presents. In the following chapters of this research, the importance of the Lean Service Methodology and Methods Engineering will be described and analyzed, first, with the objective of increasing the level of compliance of the process of cutting and reopening water connections by 35%. In turn, reducing reprocessing, eliminating data entry errors by 95% and decreasing execution times by 85%. In this way, the achievement of losses in the consortium was eliminated and it is proven that these results are applicable to companies in the same sector.
