The present research work entitled ""Comparative analysis of seismic vulnerability in the Palermo urbanization, applying the Benedetti-Petrini method and Pushover method"", contemplates the problem of the constant earthquakes that occur throughout Peru, mainly in the north, To be more precise, in Trujillo where the study area will be in the urbanization of Palermo, so a study was carried out on a selected sample of homes to evaluate their structure, with the aim of carrying out a seismic vulnerability analysis of the homes in the area. Palermo-Trujillo urbanization, applying the Pushover analysis methods and the Benedetti-Petrini methodology. For this analysis, two comparative methods were used, the first was the Benedetti- Petrini method, with which a sample of 10 houses was taken. These homes were subjected to an analysis of 11 house-by-house parameters from which vulnerability indices were obtained. The second method was Pushover analysis, in this method the use of SAP 2000 software was used and an address was taken since the present study is more extensive and in-depth, the purpose of this method is to find the performance point in different types of earthquakes such as frequent earthquake, occasional earthquake, rare earthquake and very rare earthquake. It was concluded in the contrast of both methods, with the notable result that 6 out of 10 houses have low risk of seismic vulnerability, since in these 6 homes they present a low vulnerability index in the Benedetti-Petrini method. While for the Pushover method, house number two was analyzed, resulting in the performance point being within the functional phase for a frequent earthquake on the “X” axis and on the “Y” axis it is within the phase. pre-collapse for a frequent earthquake. If we compare both results, we can conclude that the majority of the constructions are between “Low Risk” and “Medium Risk
