The study had as a general problem: What is the relationship between family social climate and social skills in students of the fourth and eighth cycle of the Faculty of Early Education of the National University of Education Enrique Guzman y Valle? The general objective was: To determine the relationship between family social climate and social skills in students of the fourth and eighth cycle of the Faculty of Early Education of the UNE. The general hypothesis: There is a relationship between the family social climate and social skills in students of the fourth and eighth cycle of the Faculty of Early Education of the UNE. The method was descriptive, correlational, non-experimental cross- sectional design. The non-probability sample was 108 students from the fourth and eighth cycle. The instruments were: Scale "Stability of the family social climate" and Scale "First social skills, advanced social skills and skills related to feelings". There was a significant relationship between family social climate and social skills according to the precisions in the methodological part, in students of the sample, with a significance of 0.027, p=0.000 < 0.05 and Spearman's Rho = 0.212.
