The main objective of this research is to determine the relationship of the human resources and the quality of public administration of the district municipality of San Salvador. The research was quantitative, with a non-experimental, descriptive and correlational design. The population consisted of 19 workers who were from the district municipality of San Salvador. It was used as a data collection technique of the "survey" as the main data collection technique that was later transferred to the use of a measurement instrument called "questionnaire". The validity of the content of the questionnaire on the variables of the human resource and the quality of the public administration, was through the expert judgment with a sufficient result and the reliability of its instruments was strong, made by the reliability coefficient of Crombach's alpha 0.785 for the human resource variable (9 items) and 0.757 for the quality of the public administration variable (6 items). The results of the investigation allowed us to conclude that: There is a significant relationship between human resources and the quality of public administration in the district municipality of San Salvador.
