The objective of this research work was thesis. Application of the Pólya method in solving quantity problems in second grade students of primary education of the Educational Institution Particular Sabio Antonio Raimondi de Pachacútec - Ventanilla, 2019, begins with the Question: How does the application of the Pólya method influence the resolution of problems of amount? Purpose, to demonstrate the influence of the application of the Pólya method in the Solving quantity problems. Methodology, quantitative approach, type of applied research, quasi-experimental design with two groups, experimental and control, with non-probabilistic sampling, using intact groups. 40, students distributed, 20 in each group. To collect the data of the affected variable, a Pedagogical Test with quantity problem solving items. Among the main results it was found that, in the pretest of solving quantity problems, in the group experimental, 55.0% (11) have fair resolution and, in the control group, 40.0 %, (8) have a high score resolution; then, in the posttest of the resolution of quantity problems, in the experimental group, 55.0% (11) have a resolution of very high score and, in the control group, 55.0% (8) have a regular resolution. Their main conclusion was: The application of the Pólya method significantly influences the resolution of problems of quantity in the area of Mathematics in the students of second grade of Primary of the Sabio Antonio Raimondi Educational Institution of Pachacútec, Ventanilla, 2019. (z = -4.716, p < 0.05) in favor of the experimental group, being their average range (29.18).
