The main objective of this research work is to establish the level of relationship between the learning strategies and the academic performance of the students of the fifth semester in the English area of the Instituto Argentina, Cercado de Lima, in 2013. The The study proposed the use of a questionnaire adapted from the ACRA to collect information regarding the first variable and for the second variable, the final results that were obtained from different evaluations applied throughout the cycle to the students of the fifth semester. The sampling was applied to 180 students. The final results concluded that the two proposed variables are significantly interrelated. The correlation obtained by Spearman's RH managed to reach 0.663 points; Due to this, the correlation was moderate, direct and significant, showing that the strategies that support learning are related to the academic level of the students.
