The objective of this research work is to find the relationship between social skills and learning achievement in students of adult education or Alternative Basic Education of the Peruvian educational system. The research work was carried out with a quantitative and non-experimental approach. Its design was correlational and the method used was descriptive because we have limited ourselves to describing the phenomenon of the study without manipulating the variables. The population and sample were the same because the number of students who participated in the study was very small. We worked with 30 English students from the fourth advanced cycle of CEBA Nuestra Señora de Loreto, Nauta, Loreto. A questionnaire and the recording of students' notes were used to collect the data. The questionnaire was applied after validation by expert judgment and the corresponding hypothesis testing. The information was collected through a survey that was then tabulated in Excel. Then the statistical software SPSS version 25 was used. After processing the information, it was concluded that social skills are directly related to learning achievement in the students of the study sample with a Spearman correlation of 0.442, which represents This is a moderate positive correlation.
