The objective of this research is to demonstrate that the application of the Regletas Soto Program makes the evaluation of the performances of the competency 9 of the National Curriculum of Basic Education more efficient. The research approach was quantitative, the study was explanatory. The experimental scientific method was applied, the quasi-experimental design was used. The sample was 24 teachers, 12 in each experimental and control group. The research subjects were evaluated by means of a test, with a proposal of 20 items of prewriting and writing notions. The Regletas Soto program was applied to the experimental group. After the application of the Regletas Soto Program, in the children, it was observed that the results change, the p-value = 0.001 is less than α = 0.05, which indicates that there are significant differences in the scores of the experimental group and the control group. It is clearly evident that the experimental group achieved a better score. It is concluded that the application of the Regletas Soto program is efficient for the evaluation of performances of competency 9 of the National Basic Education Curriculum. The conclusions of this research allow suggesting improvements both to the instruments and to the methodology and didactics for the evaluation and teaching in the development of competency 9.
