The objective of this research work was to determine the influence of basic motor skills on the technical fundamentals of soccer with a ball in children aged 10 to 12 years from the UNE Experimental Application School, 2023. The methodology adopted was quantitative in nature and was based on a non-experimental, descriptive correlational and cross-sectional design approach. To evaluate the variables, two questionnaires were administered to a sample of 40 fifth and sixth grade primary school students who were part of the CEA-UNE soccer team. The results of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test indicated a non-parametric distribution of the data, which led to the use of Spearman's Rho coefficient to analyze the research assumptions. The general findings revealed a p value equal to 0.000 for the general hypothesis. This finding leads to the conclusion that there is a significant relationship between fundamental motor skills and technical skills of soccer with a ball. This relationship implies that a solid level of basic motor skills, such as agility, coordination and speed, is associated with better performance in specific technical aspects of the game, such as ball control, accurate passing and effective shooting.
