The mission of education is to achieve the development of the potential of each student who will become a person integrated into society, with their own interests and in a permanent autonomous evolution with cognitive and emotional coherence in the various work, academic and personal activities emotional intelligence for life. Emotional intelligence cognitively predisposes us to interpret situations or events through predetermined mental schemas. Emotional intelligence and mathematics have characteristics in common when it comes to their educational purpose. Mathematics equips individuals with a set of instruments that improve and enrich mental structures, to create, solve various problems and act in context. The development of emotional competencies is the objective of emotional education are based on emotional intelligence, on emotional skills such as emotional awareness, emotional regulation, emotional autonomy, social competence and life skills for wellbeing. Consequently, students at the higher level must handle emotional intelligence strategies to achieve the level of mathematics learning by developing emotional competences in their professional training.
