The research emphasizes the need to build Children's Villages in the most impoverished areas of Lima Metropolitan to provide a suitable environment for abandoned children, considering the significance of early childhood according to the World Bank and UNICEF. The global issue of orphaned children is underscored, with poverty as the main factor, and this is contextualized in Peru, where 45% of minors live in poverty, and around 17,000 are in abandonment, primarily in Residential Care Centers. The distinction between these centers and SOS Children's Villages, which offer a more natural environment, is highlighted. The project proposes establishing a Village in Villa María del Triunfo, with an emphasis on intermediate spaces, to address the increasing number of abandoned children and promote proper development.
