In this work, the analysis of the schedule control procedures for the assembly of steel beams using the lean construction methodology in the new hospital of Cajamarca using the lean construction philosophy is proposed. The fulfillment of the activities on site is really important, because it generates several consequences such as loss of resources, higher costs, longer execution time, among others. For this reason, priority has been given to focus on the schedule control procedures applying the lean construction philosophy in order to improve the scheduling of activities of the schedule for the subcontractor in the assembly of metal beams. With the progress of the research, several problems were identified in the various work activities such as inadequate allocation of resources, failure to comply with the agreements made by stakeholders and providing an adequate area for the implementation of activities. Therefore, the critical activities of the chronogram were strengthened in order to improve the scheduling of activities and thus improve the assembly of metal beams. Finally, after having carried out the research and developed the Lean construction methodology in the project, it was possible to verify that there were great improvements such as a great reduction in the percentage of delay in the execution of the metal beams, in addition to reducing the percentage of non-compliance of activities.
