Los alcances y el impacto de la acreditación extranjera en la calidad educativa del Colegio Santa María - Marianistas

Abstract

La calidad de la educación, no puede medirse por cantidad de productos vendidos o por volúmenes de producción, sino por la calidad del servicio recibido por los alumnos. Es un proceso integral de aprendizaje que es muy difícil de medir, aunque existen múltiples métodos para ser aplicados, no todos dan el grado de certeza de que se está midiendo, cuya calidad educativa es compleja en el ser humano, difícil de concretar. El objetivo fue concretar el alcance y el impacto que ha tenido la acreditación en la calidad educativa del Colegio Santa María Marianista, mediante un proceso de investigación cualitativo, método estudio de caso técnica de observación y documental. En los resultados obtenidos se destaca el cumplimiento del modelo de evaluación extranjera, con un 94% de cumplimiento según el Informe de Auditoría Interna (IAI, 2020). Las debilidades encontradas están en los programas de capacitación para los docentes, los cuales no llenan sus expectativas y en cuanto a los espacios físicos inhabilitados para la actividad académica. Las conclusiones indican que el alcance de la acreditación está unido a las políticas internas de la institución y su impacto a la imagen y credibilidad que inspiran en sus estudiantes y representantes.

The quality of education cannot be measured by the number of products sold or production volumes, but by the quality of the service received by the students. It is an integral learning process that is very difficult to measure, although there are multiple methods to be applied, not all give the degree of certainty that it is being measured, whose educational quality is complex in the human being, difficult to specify. The objective was to specify the scope and impact that the accreditation has had on the educational quality of the Colegio Santa María Marianista, through a qualitative research process, a case study method, an observation technique, and a documentary. In the results obtained, compliance with the foreign evaluation model stands out, with 94% compliance according to the Internal Audit Report (IAI, 2020). The weaknesses found are in the training programs for teachers, which do not meet their expectations and in terms of physical spaces disabled for academic activity. The conclusions indicate that the scope of the accreditation is linked to the internal policies of the institution and its impact on the image and credibility that they inspire in their students and representatives.
