Well-being reflects the life’s quality that people maintain and allows the construction of individual and social living conditions for their good development, impacting on the general aspects of life related to health. In relation to this, Peru presents the problem of drug use taking increasingly complex dimensions not only in the lives of adolescents, but also in the lives of young people, since intrapersonal and interpersonal factors have been involved. In this sense, the main objective of the present study is to analyze the relationship between social well-being and psychological well-being among young people aged 20 to 25 years who use marijuana in Metropolitan Lima. This research was conducted from a quantitative approach, with a correlational and cross-sectional design, considering 144 men and women between 20 and 25 years of age, marijuana consumers, from different universities in Metropolitan Lima, as the study population. Data collection instruments used were the Social Well-Being Scale (Keyes, 1998, version by Blanco and Díaz, 2005), and the Psychological Well-Being Scale BIEPS-A (version by Díaz et al., 2006; Van Dierendonck, 2004). It was concluded that the dimensions of Psychological Well-Being correlate significantly weakly with the dimensions of social well-being in the participants of the study.
