The present research aims to improve the students’ learning of the programming language course in the career of mechanical engineering, since students show signs of difficulty regarding the logical analysis of the composition of the programming structures. This form of analysis enables students to write programs that make logical sense and consider all the grammar rules that is required from any programming language in order to steer the systematizing in any engineering process. In this way, it is proposed that a teaching practice should incorporate a collaborative virtual blackboard to provide a new didactic strategy for the teacher. This will allow the improvement in learning within the collaborative context. Students will also participate in their own learning and learn together taking advantage of ICT resources, which allow their mutual connection without necessarily sharing the same room, that is, learning will take place inside and outside the classroom, since virtuality will allow knowledge to develop at any given time. Likewise, this strategy has several spaces where students reflect on their learning. Finally, this research has been developed using the research method by the systematization of experiences; this method formalizes the teaching work, making it more reflective and replicable with some adjustments. This method uses class records to submit them to a critical analysis organized by categories for the proposal’s formalization.
