This research focuses on the analysis of the most representative product of the line with the highest percentage of sales in a plastic products company, where problems related to the assembly and disassembly, injection, inspection and packaging process were identified. Therefore, the objective is to design an improvement proposal, using Lean Manufacturing tools, in order to reduce waste and boost productivity through the cleaning products line of the company. The tools selected for the solution of the problem were Poka Yoke, TPM: Autonomous Maintenance and Planned Maintenance, 5s methodology, SMED and Standard Work, where the results obtained were the reduction of 224. 5 kg of monthly wastage; the improvement of the general efficiency of the injection molding machine by 8%; the reduction of the monthly unproductive times in the assembly and disassembly area by 7 min and in the packaging area by 64 min, the reduction of the deburring execution time by 10,650 min and of the packaging by 1016 min per month, the reduction of the die assembly and disassembly time by 138 min. All of this produced economic benefits of S/ 17,979.18. It was concluded that the improvement proposal increased productivity by 6% and reduced waste by 1.4%, also, the profitability of the project is evidenced by having an NPV equal to S/ 72,935.25 greater than 0, an IRR of 66% greater than the WACC of 12.2% and a B/C of 2.9.
