The objective of this research work was to determine the relationship between the Dialogic Literary Gatherings (TLD) and the development of the Reading Habit in second-year high school students in an Educational Institution of Metropolitan Lima in 2022. For this purpose, a quantitative methodological approach of correlational scope was used to determine the relationship that exists between the principles of the Dialogic Literary Gatherings (equal dialogue, cultural intelligence, transformation, instrumental dimension, creation of meaning, solidarity and the equality of differences) and the reading habit in a sample of 57 students to whom a survey on reading habits and reading experiences in the school environment was applied. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the Dialogic Literary Gatherings and the reading habit. And it was concluded that the practice of equal dialogue, cultural intelligence, the instrumental dimension, solidarity and the creation of meaning are present, to a great extent, in the experiences of the students, motivating and encouraging the increase in reading practice, which allows the development of the reading habit, with special impact on reading behavior and reading motivation in second year high school students.
