This research focuses on the realization of a proposal that would involve the development of Andean communities and the contribution to the fight against pollution. The participation of this research in the development of remote communities in our country is the study of the implementation of a hydroelectric turbine of sufficient size to produce sustainable electrical energy in favor of these communities. The research is partly descriptive and exploratory, the methodology used for data collection is the interview with two important members of the Achoma staff, the target audience for this study, this staff is made up of Autocolca and the Colca workshop school. After observation, it is known that the characteristics of the channel are optimal, since it has a width of 1.8 meters and a depth of 1.5m, which makes the flow greater than 2.6 m3 / s, the use of a turbine that It generates up to 363 thousand kWh, enough to cover the demand of 65 thousand kWh from the staff. This approach is considered technically feasible. Economically, this proposal is also viable because it achieves a NPV of S / 933,16.64 and an IRR above the discount rate.
