Loreto y San Martín tienen actividades económicas diferentes, que influyen en la formación del Producto Bruto Interno y en la recaudación tributaria. El objetivo fue hacer un análisis comparativo de la recaudación tributaria de Loreto y San Martín en el Periodo 2013 - 2017. Por ello, se llevó a cabo esta investigación de tipo Cuantitativa, nivel Descriptivo y de diseño No Experimental. Concluye que la recaudación tributaria de Loreto fue de S/. 1,709,259.02 miles, superior en 78.85% al de San Martín que fue de S/. 955,690.82 miles. El impuesto que más recaudó en ambas regiones fue el “Impuesto a la Renta de Tercera Categoría”, que llegó al S/. 490,700.01 miles en Loreto, equivalente al 28.71% del total recaudado en el periodo en estudio, mientras que en San Martín llegó a S/. 287,814.11 miles, igual al 30.12% de la recaudación total. Asimismo, el Producto Bruto Interno de la región Loreto alcanzó la suma de S/. 41,559,173.00 miles, y la principal actividad económica es “Extracción de Petróleo, Gas, y Minerales” (20.32% del PBI), superior a la de la región San Martín en 53.92% que fue de S/. 26,999,935.00 miles, y tiene como principal actividad “Agricultura, Ganadería, Caza y Silvicultura” (26.10% del PBI). No existe significancia estadística entre la actividad económica y la recaudación de Loreto (r=0.469908644 y R2=0.220814133); pero sí en la San Martín que obtuvo valores cercanos a +1 y 1 (r=0.973031179 y R2=0.946789675).
Loreto and San Martín have different economic activities, which influence the formation of the Gross Domestic Product and tax collection. The objective was to make a comparative analysis of the tax collection of Loreto and San Martín in the 2013 - 2017 Period. Therefore, this research was carried out of Quantitative type, Descriptive level and Non-Experimental design. It concludes that Loreto's tax collection was S /. 1,709,259.02 thousands, 78.85% higher than in San Martín, which was S /. 955,690.82 miles. The tax that collected the most in both regions was the “Third Category Income Tax”, which reached S /. 490,700.01 thousands in Loreto, equivalent to 28.71% of the total collected in the period under study, while in San Martín it reached S /. 287,814.11 thousands, equal to 30.12% of the total collection. Likewise, the Gross Domestic Product of the Loreto region reached the sum of S /. 41,559,173.00 thousands, and the main economic activity is “Extraction of Oil, Gas, and Minerals” (20.32% of GDP), higher than that of the San Martín region by 53.92%, which was S /. 26,999,935.00 thousands, and its main activity is “Agriculture, Livestock, Hunting and Forestry” (26.10% of GDP). There is no statistical significance between the economic activity and the collection of Loreto (r = 0.469908644 and R2 = 0.220814133); but in the San Martín that obtained values close to +1 and 1 (r = 0.973031179 and R2 = 0.946789675).
