Abstract: The project Shelter for adolescents in La Victoria is carried out with the aim of providing a new infrastructure. The shelter typology will accommodate adolescents in a state of abandonment with various areas which are differentiated by their activity, whether educational, health, pedagogical and psychological. For this shelter to be attractive to adolescents, what is proposed from the beginning is the emphasis on permeability, so that the adolescent does not feel pressured to perform a particular activity, creating space in constant relationship with the outside and other activities, which even motivates them to interrelate and allow them to share experiences, creating a special environment for them, in which they feel comfortable and at the same time exploiting their capabilities. For this reason, it was decided to locate it in a place where they would be in constant contact with the other Residential Care Centers and institutions in charge of supervising the CARs, such as the National Integral Program for Family Welfare (INABIF), formulating, designing, promoting and executing plans, projects and programs of prevention and care for children and adolescents (NNA), such as the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations (MIMP) and encouraging adoptions, such as the General Directorate of Adoptions (DGA), thus achieving efficient activities in the district of La Victoria. In conclusion, the new shelter to be developed will offer an optimal infrastructure for the user achieving their welfare and subsequent social reintegration, and this will be achieved by applying the principles of Permeable Architecture.
